Planning consent achieved for a heritage building in the Conservation Area

We’re extremely pleased to have obtained Planning Consent for this beautiful 4 storey Heritage property within the Conservation Area.

The proposals include a new 3 storey bay window, traditionally constructed in brick and bath stone, and a sleek lightweight extension in zinc and oak with a green roof system. The building will be remodelled and refurbished throughout to retain it’s period features, but breath new life into it and improve the overall energy efficiency. Measures to achieve this will include internal insulation, solar power and airsource heat pumps, underfloor heating, and replacement heritage double glazed sash windows throughout for increased energy efficiency and thermal performance.

Construction is underway already with a fantastic team from Belmark and Nightgale, and we’ll be deeply involved with every step of the process right through to landscaping the beautiful gardens which surround this lovely property with design support from wildlife garden specialists BUGDesign.
